Some store stuff showing up as needing to be purchased

First, sorry if this is in the wrong section...I wasn't sure if it should go here or the in-game problems.

This is not so much a problem as just a question.  I installed all the games, store stuff and worlds.  They all show up fine.  But there is some stuff and a few worlds that show up with the gold coin beside them that requires me to purchase them.  I don't remember that from before, but maybe with the new expansions and stuff that have come out it has changed and that stuff does show up now.  I don't know enough about items to know if the stuff that you need to buy is also in there somewhere for free.  The worlds though, show up oddly.  For example: I have a Midnight Hollow - Standard that needs to be bought, but I also have a Midnight Hollow that I can use.  This is the Midnight Hollow I downloaded from here.  There is also a Hidden Springs, Sunlit Tides Gold and Aurora Skies Gold that need to be purchased, but I also have Hidden Springs, Sunlit Tides and Aurora Skies that I can use.  In the edit game features there is all kinds of stuff that needs to be bought that I obviously can't access and I have no idea if it is also available free somewhere...I will have to check for it.

So did I do something wrong in my installation?  I installed all ep's and stuff following the instructions.  Did the update and the fix.  Put the store fix in.  All very carefully, reading the instructions through and then verifying each step as I went.  As I said I can play the game no problem, and the only reason I ask at all is I don't remember seeing stuff that I had to buy before...but that was probably a good 6 months ago since I had the game.  So do I just ignore the need to buy stuff and enjoy the game, or do I need to fix it somehow?
