The Sims 3 Showtime Installation Problems. Empty The Sims 3 Showtime Installation Problems.

When I go to install Sims 3 Showtime I get this error:
File: C:\Users\DJZ\Documents\BitLord\The Sims 3 - Showtime\Caches\StarlightShores.objectCache
Error: The request could not be performed because of an I/O device error.

I've clicked retry and I've tried the "Recommended Settings" and the same thing. How do I fix this? Many thanks for the help.

Hello,

Have you already tried re-extracting the content of the "Showtime" .RAR download (with WinRAR !), to another empty folder ? Then re-start the installation from that new folder. You can even try the following:


The Sims 3 Showtime Installation Problems. Winrar10

You can, in WinRAR, go to "Extract to...", then at the left choose "Keep broken files", and then re-extract it. See if that helps you.
