The Sims 3 Generations LOADING PROBLEM(S)

I downloaded The Sims 3 Generations with a torrent brought by Games4Theworld. When I installed and cracked it it seems to be working just fine. It goes fine until I try to load my save. It takes at least three minutes for the green line to reach the end, and when it does, it keeps on loading but doesn't move. I've tried to reinstall the game five times with two different torrents, one being the mentioned, the other from RELOADED, and this have happened every time. Anyone having the same problems? If so please share your thoughts on how to fix this. Thanks in advance.

I tried something different now and discovered another problem.
When try to make a new game it loads just fine, but when I create my family and set them in a house or a lot, the HUD just vanish and leaves me with no option than to exit with ALT-F4. For now I'll just uninstall it and play The Sims 3 without Generations. I've got all the other Expansion packs so that is not it.

I uninstalled it but left my sims game in version 7.0.55, can it be this version that is bugged?

Before you reinstall back. You need to restart your computer. That's mandatory.

First of all, I recommend you update to the latest version: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t752-the-sims-3-ultimate-fix-should-fix-most-of-your-problems

Also, don't use any CC or other custom stuff. That it takes about 3 minutes to load, is normal. It's the same for me. Just be patient.

I have a kinda same problem with mine. I have had Sims 3 installed before up to fast lanes and it worked all fine last and loaded nicely.
Now I wanted to play again so installed them all up to generations in the right order, as stated in the instructions. It shows that all exp. are installed, so that part is fine. The launcher works fine, so good there too.
I can start the game and the first loading screen with the picture for sims 3 generations load in fine, so I chose a city to start in. So it goes to the load screen as it should and starts to load, but just before the nice green loading bars hits the end it kinda stops and never goes on. Try´d to let it stand for 1 hour to see if it was just a time issue, but never got on. So went to turn all gfx to all low and try´d again but sadly with same result.
When I go to task manager it states that the game is running as it should, so kinda bugging me
So try´d the ultimate fix download from here and again after about 1 hour it just stood there nearly done loading and task manager stated running as it should.
So next part where to stop it from loading the "addons" (maps, cloth, etc. from download ) and try again, but with same result.
So now I´m just empty on idea´s, for what to try next.
So just a little info for PC spec, to give a better picture.
Intel Core 2 Quad 2.4Ghz, 4GB RAM (can only use 3.25 as I run Win Xp.) Win Xp SP2, Gforce 8800 GTX 768MB. Not the greatest of machines, but it should have no problem running the game.

Please try to update your Graphic Card's driver.
Besides that, what do you mean; the Fix doesn't load?

Will try the driver now and see if that will help it out.
Not sure where you got the fix doesn´t load part from ? I said I try´d the ultimate fix from this site, but it made no diff. It was still the same problem as it was before I try´d the ultimate fix

That doesn't matter. It'll still work on Windows 7, obviously.

Both yes and no. My computer chose to **** up, so had to do the lovely format C: So I now run Win 7 instead and got it installed with all the exp. up to generations and it work with loading now. Now I just have a new problem sadly. After I went to egypt and bought the biggest camera and wanted to take some pictures. But when I take a picture it goes all well until it´s taken and the sim cheer because he have taken the picture, but the action icon in the corner don´t disapeer and I can´t move the sim or anything. The time keeps running and all, just kinda bugs up there. Will check the forum here now if there is a solution allready.
And I have this weird lag in china. Every now and then it stops the game for a few secs and then contines. So far it have only happened in china, so a little weird tbh.

If yes, I recommend you put all the game's settings on the lowest and then restart the game to see if it makes any difference. Also it's known that playing in windowed mode can fix some of the lagg problems.
