Can't install sims 3 downloads

Hey there.
I wanted to install some sims3pack files but suddenly it won't work anymore. It turns black and it isn't responding anymore:
Can't install sims 3 downloads 4VS2Pzz

I waited a hour because I thought it was just loading but that didn't work. So yeah.. I don't understand why this is happening.
Can someone help me please? Sad

Hello,

What kind of ".sims3pack" is that ? Did you get this from the official "Sims 3 exchange" ?

Unfortunately, It's quite common that user-made custom content has some glitches. These items (sometimes called "Bad CC") either can't be installed at all or if they are installed, they can cause trouble to your game (lagging, freezing, crashing, etc.).

As of now, I have no other explanation for that. Can you try other ".sims3packs" too, though ?

Also, you might want to try "CC Magic". For a brief guide, look here. Keep in mind though that if you are really trying to install custom-made CC, then you might run into trouble, like I already said.

Well these ones are not sims3pack files from the official sims 3 exchange. I always download them from simsresource.com and never had problems with it.
I've tried other sims3packs too but got the same problem. I even tried to install sims3pack files from the official sims 3 exchange but still no change..

Since patch 1.57, the launcher became glitchy for many people (me including). Can you try CC Magic ?

And again: on the official Sims 3 exchange there are also many items which are badly made, and don't install/can cause problems - keep that in mind. You might even try installing the official store content with the launcher. If that doesn't work either, then try CC Magic. Good luck !
