Help! Lots of Game Lag

Hi! So I've downloaded the Sims 3 game and I've downloaded nearly every expansion pack except for maybe 3 of them. My game was running ok until yesterday though. I learned how to install mods and I installed the Yoga mat mod, the traveller mod, some clothes, hair and makeup, and the model job mod, along with the two included nointro and nobuildsparkle mods. My game is running extremely slow. The first screen loads a little slower and once I get to the neighborhood loading screen and it takes a very long time for it to load completely. My dxdiag stats are too large to post.

are you sure you have the latest Traveler? Please try redownloading a new one and apply this. Clothes, hair and makeup (Custom Content) can also contribute to this error too. Can you remove them to see if there are any differences?

You can also delete the following to de-lag:

Create-a-Sim Cache	CasPartCache.package
Build/Buy mode cache	compositorCache.package
Mod or custom content cache	scriptCache.package
New Sims and skin cache	simCompositorCache.package
Simport-related (maybe?) and other social data, if you use the wall to integrate with your MyPage on thesims3.com site	socialCache.package
files inside the folder "Thumbnails"	*.package
pictures inside the folder "FeaturedItems"	thumb_*.png
files inside DCCache (not all)	missingdeps.idx & dcc.ent
files that end with .bin inside the folder "Downloads" and "SigsCache"	*.bin
A file that is created once you download a Sim/Pet (inside the folder "SavedSims")	Downloadedsims.index
All of the files inside the folder "WorldCaches" and "IGACache", and all the files inside the folder "DCCache" except ccmerged.package	/

ok I've done those things. I'm going to try to start the game and see what happens.

ok so it's on the neighborhood loading screen and its on the last tiny bit and its going really slow.

still slow and I do have the latest travellers mod. do you need to see my computer specs?

Can you remove all the mods and see if it helps?

i'll try that.

Ok so I removed the mods and the game is running faster now but the neighborhood loading screen still takes a while I turned down all my settings as well. Was is the mods that was making the game slow?
