Crashing

Ever time i leave the future, the game crashes. Any solutions?

There are a few things you can try, however, the way you've explained your issue is a little vague.  Have you tried other families, other save games to see if it's the game itself?  Are you using Mods/CC on your game - have you tested your game without any of these things?

I haven't tried it with another family..Yes I use mods.

It crashes every hour or comes up with error code 12...so odd.

Please install this mod: http://nraas.wikispaces.com/ErrorTrap.  It's called ErrorTrap and numerous people have used it to prevent and ward again the code 12 error;  it's not an instant fix, but it may alleviate your issue.  
For the record, the code 12 error you get is associated with saving your game - error 12 is a world file save failure, a memory problem. If the mod doesn't seem to work for you, here are a few steps you can take:

1. Try using the 'save as' option in the town that is giving you the error, rather than just 'save'. 
   
2. Do not use 'save & quit', only save before quitting your game.
   
3. Please make sure you're running the game on the minimum of system requirements listed by EA here.
   
4. Check the folder CurrentGame.sims3 in documents before starting the game. It should be empty. It only contains data during gameplay. If your game crashed, this folder might still contain something. Move or delete it's content.
   
5. Attempt to start your game in compatibility mode and/or administrator mode.
   
6. Each time you save, create a new save file.
   

Code 12 is a pesky one to fix, and if these six suggestions do not work, I'd then say you are better off deleting the folder: My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3 and starting over!  Once you do this, make sure you are following all of the steps above!

I seen some stuff in the current game folder, I guess that is why I'm getting the error? I will get error code 12
