Windows 8 RAM/Physical memory Empty Windows 8 RAM/Physical memory

Post by Guest Sun 10 Nov 2013, 19:26

I searched Google but I'm just getting frusterated.
My computer has 6GB of RAM(5.8GB usable)
And I've even tried using readyboost but no matter what I do whenever I run a game it tells me to close it because of low memory. And when I'm not running anything it uses about 70% of the memory by itself. I don't know how to fix it so that it can use at least most of the RAM or use the readyboost but nothing seems to be working and windows 8 help forums suck. Help please🇳🇴 No No No No

Hello there,

Welcome to the Games4theworld Forum!
Do you get that error with literally every game you play?

Also open up your task manager, and check what applications are using your RAM (70% of your RAM is abnormal in my opinion), if something has a very high ram % usage and you don't know what it is (it might be a virus), or you don't use it, Kill it.

Check your Startup in your task manager, and disable what you won't need at your startup or you don't use regularly.

Ah, you spoiled my "step 2".
