Circumventing "Access denied" internet error in ESET Nod Anti-virus.

If you're using "ESET Nod Anti-Virus" (available from Games4TheWorld), you may have come across this "access denied" error when you're trying to go to certain internet sites. For example, you're looking for a new serial, but the program doesn't let you access the site.

Here's how you can circumvent this:

1. Open the program. On the left-hand side, click on "Setup", then on "personal firewall".

2. Click on "Advanced Personal firewall setup".

3. Now, on the left, look for "Web access protection" (it's under the antivirus/antispyware options). Click on that option then.

4. UNMARK the box "enable web access protection". Then click on OK.

5. You're done ! When you're still on the page with that "access denied-error", it should be enough to refresh the page with F5, and then the page should show up. Wink

A small sidenote: instead of going through this "main menu", you can also right-click on the ESET icon in the taskbar, and choose "Advanced setup".

Also, use this at your own risk ! (that is, you should only do this if you're sure that the site you're trying to access is harmless) Wink

I'm using this "fix" to access sites that contain serials for ESET, and which are usually blocked by the program.
