I can't go snorkeling! [SOLVED]

Everytime I try to go snorkeling it sends me back to nearest beach, I've tried running my game without mods, running it in windowed mode (a completely useless attempt but I'm noob), but it still doesn't work. Please help me I just want to see the merpeople. Sorry for my English

Hello,
Since I "only" have that problem with one "diving area", I can only try making guesses. Try this:
go to a beach and swim somewhere. Then, you click somewhere on the water and choose "snorkelling". Do NOT go into "town view" and choose the option there. So just stay in "normal" mode and click on the water somewhere.
Also, go to My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3 and look for the file scriptCache.package. Delete that file, and then re-start the game.
