Error installing WA

I've been having quite a few problems since I uninstalled and reinstalled The Sims 3 due to some more problems I was having in the game. 
So I reinstalled the base game with no problem but the thing is when I try to install world adventures it gives me a 
problem like this:

• I am unable to update my game via manual updater because even that gives me an error message but my sims worked fine prior to this occurrence without me updating it that way. 
  
•  I've also tried uninstalling it, restarting my computer and then reinstalling the base game
