Expansion Doubt

I have a doubt about install all expansion, i already have sims 3 just with university life and works fine, but need to know if theres some problem if i install others expansions when the game is completely installed (and without loose any game progress or re-install all again). my connection is too slow and one expansion need at least 7 hours to download.
