Sims 3 Pets CC Bug Rigfix (granny2.dll)
Greetings,
this is my first post and hopefully my last. I have had problems with this game from alpha to omega!
Well lets cut to the chase. My problem is that I cannot update nor fix the bugs in sims3 after I have installed pets (Chairs and objects are in and under the table etc.). I have custom content in the game and they actually work fine, but they need to be updated and fixed after sims3 pets is installed and patches the game. I am aware that there is a solution to this problem but it seems that this solution has met its prime and isn't helping anymore! I am talking about the Rigfix from TSR and the freaking granny2.dll file that doesn't exist in the vast omnipresent internet, anymore. I have been looking all over and read forums after forums.. Nothing!
The only phenomena i have witnessed throughout this torturous and frustrating journey to salvation, is that there are a bunch of in the sims3 community, with a severe case of helpers syndrome, that feel the urge to fill in some useless info prompting imaginary help!
I have been trying to find this file and stumbled upon the fact that the company producing this software has closed down! So the granny crowd scene bundle, that has been floating around a few years ago, ceases to exist. However I am trying to find a solution to this problem. I need an alternative to the granny crowd scene solution or a step by step instruction with granny2.dll/granny crowd scene/TSR rigfix out of an reliable source with the RIGHT granny2.dll version (2009), the installation of granny crowd scene and TSR rigfix.
Now don't get me wrong, I have tried various attempts to install these files/software myself but two problems arise. (1.) The granny2.dll is not recognized (NO ERROR IS SHOWN) nor do I get a statement from the second window in TSR rigfix, telling me that I have granny2.dll and if I would like to use it. (2.) If the software TSR rigfix comes as far as recognizing the granny2.dll file, it fails with the next step by recognizing or scanning the DCcache files!
Thanks in advance

Re: Sims 3 Pets CC Bug Rigfix (granny2.dll)
Search Google for "granny2.dll 2009", and you will find the first result (Yahoo Answers, with a mediafire link to granny2.dll, which is completely safe and free from virus). Download that and it might work.
However, as far as I am concerned, if the Custom Content is not working with the game anymore, it's better to lose them than to keep them, as they might corrupt your saves.

Haha, ok correctional officer. Thanks for the advice but I have been there and done that already. Kind of an epidemic on these forums, but thx anyway. I have already solved the issue.
