Sims 3 not launching after 1.67 Update. [SOLVED]

Downloaded and applied ultimate fix, and patched it through the launcher up to 1.67 (Think thats the current patch number) following everything as instructed. Now the game will not open. I've tried every way to open the game and it either won't do anything or give me a "Sims 3 has stopped working".

And same thing happens when I used the manual patch and cracked the .exe. The game crashes. Help??

Well, I'm going to downgrade it to 1.66 and report back with the results...

Did you use the latest Ultimate Fix?
You need to apply it again...

I did use the latest Ultimate fix. And I did apply it twice. Nothing worked.

I have the same problem. The ultimate fix, updated patch and manual patches are not working for me....I don't know what to do anymore. *sigh* I've tried for weeks!

Try to go to Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\DCCache and delete missingdeps.idx.
See whether it helps...

Hello, first of all, can you show us a screenshot of skuversion.txt in C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin?

Also show us a screenshot of a folder where you have placed the Ultimate Fix # Crack to.

I have figured out my problem, and if others have this problem.

It was the outdated Mod (nraas) So if anyone else has mods (any sort) and has this problem, remove them and try to find updates for those mods. I never fail to forget about the mods whenever I update -_-*
