Can I Update The Sims 3 Successfully with The Sims 3: Pets?[SOLVED]

Hello,
I'm a new member here, just joined few minutes ago.
I'm currently downloading The Sims 3 base game and The Sims 3: Pets [FIXED/FULL] expansion pack.
I saw the video of "The Sims 3 Ultimate Fix Installation Guide", and it does not include The Sims 3: Pets crack(?).
So if we're done with the Ultimate Fix, we are able to update the version onwards without any problems?
So I wonder if I'll have any problems if I download The Sims 3: Pets with the base game.
After downloading The Sims 3: Pets, what am I supposed to do?
Am I supposed to copy or paste certain stuffs to the base game folder(s)?

Hello,
If you download and install Pets after the base game, your game will be fully up to date.
In the video, you don't see the Pets expansionpack because the video was created before the release of Pets, but the principle remains the same.
After you're done downloading, install the base game. You'll find a detailed installationguide in your download. Just don't apply the crack since you'll be installing Pets after that, you don't have to crack the base game.
When installation of the base game is complete, open the installation guide found in the Pets download and use it to install the expansion.
Technically, you don't need the fix at this point because your game gets updated to the latest version during the installation of Pets.
The Pets download comes with a crack, copy that to the appropriate place after the installation is complete and that's that.
If you have any more questions, don't hesitate to ask.
