Exspansion Pack Problems

So to replace my steam version, I downloaded a fresh copy of the sims from here. I also got some other items. When I start the game it says that my base game is uncompatible with one of the exspansions, then when I try to start it says I dont have the sims 3 pets disc. Can I get help? I am trying the ultimate fix too.
