Black screen with spinning wheel when i start sims 3.

my sims works perfectly when it is open. but every time i try to open it (i dont use launcher, just double click its exe), i just see a black screen and the spinning wheel of the curser. the interesting part is that, when i press ctrl+alt+del, open task manager and play with it with for a while (what i mean by "play with" is that i click task manager, wait and click on the black screen for a few times, i click to end the process of running sims 3 but when prompted i click no, if this doesnt work i close sims3 completely, open it and try again etc) it finally opens and i play it smoothly. but everytime on startup, i spend 5 or 10 minutes by closing/opening it several times or playing with the task manager just to see that maxis screen.
  
i do not want to uninstall and reinstall all the game and its expansions. this should be solved with a simple trick, i think. any ideas?
