Store Fix HELP. [SOLVED]

Heyyy,

I'm not very good at this kinda thing,

But my dragon egg wont hatch on my game, so I have searched through the website and says I need store fix. I have downloaded the most recent one read the installation guide but have no idea what any of it means.

Could someone please help me a little, apologies if I am being dumb.

Hello,

No, you're not dumb. But I guess I'll have to elaborate more on the instructions.

1) First, read through this guide here: http://www.games4theworlddownloads.org/Downloads/Guides/How_to_install_.package_files.pdf

There really isn't much behind it, so read it carefully.

2) Now get the latest store fixes from here: http://www.games4theworlddownloads.org/ts3/storefixes.html

You need to open and extract the download with WinRAR. So just open the file with WinRAR, mark the contents with your mouse and drag & drop them out somewhere (e.g. onto your desktop).

Now, take these extracted files and copy + paste the following files into (My) Documents\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Mods\Packages\.

-ccmerged.package
-StoreFix_DecrapFixes.package
-StoreFix_DecrapFixes_TEMP.package
-StoreFix_Fixes.package
-XMLs.package

In addition, copy + paste the ccmerged.package into the DCBackup folder, which is located in (My) Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3.

At all stages, whenever you are prompted, choose "copy and replace" for ALL files.

Final step: in (My) Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3, delete the file scriptCache.package.

Re-start the game then. I hope this helps you, but there really isn't much more to elaborate on.

So is the little dragon now hatching from your egg ? Smile

I tested the current store fixes, and if they are applied correctly, then the "dragon egg" will work too.
