Sims 3- Expansion Problems

Hello! I know you must get so many of these asking for help. So I correctly installed the base game and I wanted to install seasons. Now, I got all the way to the part where it was about to be installed after putting it all in .dmg format; however, when I tried I received this error message:

The version of The Sims™ 3 installed is not updatable and is not compatible with The Sims™ 3 Seasons.

So I'm not sure what to do now. Should I reinstall the base? Or did I do something wrong when reconverting from rar to .dmg?

I was able to add The Sims-Late Night and did the Ultimate fix but it still says there is no disk? Help?

Hello,

First of all, you need to update your game with the latest patch for that updatable/compitable error. You can use manual patch from this site. And then install every expansion you want.
