Ambitions Installation Quit Unexpectedly

Hello! 
I'm very new to the Mac world, so I apologize if this is a dumb question! I have been following along with the installation guide for mac users and I haven't had any issues until now. I'm starting my expansion installations, going in chronological order, as advised. However, once I redirect the destination to where the base game is already installed, it quits unexpectedly. 
Any sort of help would be great! Thank you!

Which installer of expansion you're having problem with? Probably something happened during the .dmg creating process. You should create a new .dmg to see if it works or not.

Honestly, the same thing happened to me the multiple times I have attempted to do the Ultimate Fix... I kind of see it as a draw from the hat.. It's may or may not happen... Do you get that message every time? For me, it happens but then I just relaunch the installer and it works perfectly fine. 

If this is the issue that is happening, trust me. It should be fine the second time you relaunch the installer. I apologize if I'm not being as helpful as you would like as I'm not to sure why it even does that! But second time is a charm.....
