[EDIT] Didn't realize there was a Mac dedicated section. I found the fix, thank you. Please move or delete this threat, thanks, and sorry.


So I have the base version of Sims 3 along with the Seasons expansion pack and newest 1.42 update installed on my Mac. They run perfectly, no errors, everything's great.

Today I downloaded both the Sims 3 Pets Fixed and the Sims 3 Ambitions expansion packs. In the instructions for both it says to install using a .exe file, but they don't run on a Mac. When I click on the Installation file that IS available for Mac, it bounces on my dash for a while but will never open anything.

Is there a way to get around this and to install it onto a Mac? I don't know why they won't begin installation.

Are you using Stuffit Expander to bring out the .rar, Not sure what else is needed, not familiar with a Mac.
