Problems with Saving Empty Problems with Saving

Hello again! Now I fixed the other problem but now, I need to fix this one. 
My game has been saving for more then 2 hours. It appeared error like 2 times but I kept saving, so if you guys know a fix for this problem with out having to miss my game save, would appropriate it

Hi Alison,

No, I'm afraid there is no "fix" for this very annoying issue. It also happens with me, sometimes. And all you can do then is quit the game (and lose your in-game progress). After you quit the game, please go to My Documents (Documentos)/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3 and delete all contents inside the Currentgame.sims3 folder. 

Also, in My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3, delete all of the the following stuff:

-CASPartCache.package
-compositorCache.package
-scriptCache.package
-simCompositorCache.package
-socialCache.package
-plus the contents of the folders "WorldCaches" & "Thumbnails"


Re-start the game, and play on. You should try saving in "short intervals", so let's say, you should save the game every 15-20 minutes of (real-time) gameplay, to minimize the damage should this error happen again.

Ok thank you hon, but now I have a error code 12 everytime I wanna save '.'

Is your Windows a 32-bit or 64-bit version ? If your Windows is a 64-bit one AND if your computer has 4 GB of RAM or more, then download the "4 GB patch" from here:

http://www.ntcore.com/4gb_patch.php


After downloading, open it. You then need to choose the TS3W.exe in your base game location (usually that's in C:\Program files(x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin). Select that file and wait for the message "executable successfully patched". Close the 4 GB patch then. After that, please delete all contents inside the Currentgame.sims3 folder, located in My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3. And then you could try the game again.

If your Windows is a 32-bit one and if you have fewer than 4 GB of RAM, then that's bad. Sad
