All Custom Contents are G-O-N-E. [SOLVED]

I updated my game to version 1.67
before it was 1.62 all of my CC are working fine.
but now they are all GONE.
But in Sims 3 Launcher it says *INSTALLED*

HELP

Hello,

I'm afraid there's nothing you can do about it. Before you update the game, you should always rename the folder "The Sims 3", in My Documents/Electronic Arts. And after updating, rename the folder back to what it was. If you don't do that, the update can screw up your savefiles and custom content/mods too.

For a start, check out this guide, to properly remove your (corrupted) custom content:

After doing that, re-install your stuff. You may prefer using "CC Magic" for that, though, instead of the game launcher:

damn I always follow the thread by Lady ElDi i never thought i would get these kind of bugss...damn XD

Custom Contents make the Game load slower right? Or does the NraaS Mods make it load slower

Yes, unfortunately, most people overlook the guide you linked to, from Lady Eldi (this link is also in my signature, called "before installing a new Sims 3 EP/SP"). And yet, this is one of the most important guides, in my opinion.

Yes, custom content AND mods can slow down your game. So if your computer is rather weak, you shouldn't use too many CC/mods. You may even try the tool "GameBooster" to improve your gaming performance (look on Piratebay for that).

Keep in mind that if you want to install worlds, you still have to use the launcher (CC Magic can't install worlds). Also, if you really use the launcher still, do NOT install too many items at once with the launcher, otherwise they won't show up in-game. Just install the items in "small bunches".

Damn, I think the game is slowed down because im using too many nraas Mods XD i need to remove some of them

must update all nraas mods to its latest. and NraaS Mod like ErrorTrap and OverWatch mess up the sims when they took a vacation. it really lags the game so even though they are updated to its latest versions. so yea.

If you feel it's because of these particular mods, then just leave them out. As for me, I actually find these two mods (ErrorTrap, Overwatch) very useful, but in the end that's your decision of course.

I think i got the Free Vacation Bug.
if the error trap and overwatch is in my Mods folder the parents are back and can be played BUT* their inventory is empty, literally. well I will try to experiment and find the solution for this.

Hello and sorry for the delay,

If you can rule out mods as the cause of this issue (= i.e. if you get the same bug when you play without any mods), then I'd say this is a bug that needs to be fixed with a patch, and I'm not sure when or if a new patch will come.

yea it is Free Vacation Bug. Now I wont give my sims that vacation again XD
Overwatch and Error Trap Mods by NraaS fixed it. Though its weird these 2 mods gives me a funny bug before it fixed the Free Vacation Bug. anyways this is solved Very Happy
