Starting frm scratch

Hi all.

I have successfully installed the sims on one of my PC and I am trying it on another PC.

However I am having trouble installing Base game.

I foolishly thought I could just transferred the game frm the old PC to the new one without going through all the installation. I learned that I couldnt get the game to play that way. I have since deleted the files from My computer (No more EA files in program files)

I am trying to start from scratch but I can't seem to get base game to run installation after mounting disc images on Daemon.

I was also prompted that the game has been updated to 1.627 and I cant "over write" with an older one.

I am thinking if I should go ahead install the expansion pack but where am I going to paste the Ultimate Fix if I dont have the EA files!

Is there a way to "uninstall" the 1.627 and start from scratch with the steps?
