An error occurred while applying the update. [CLOSED]

Hi! I was trying to update the base game but it says that an error occurred while applying the update. and from the title bar it says no patch available for download. Help me. I'm using MAC too.

I have had this problem once in a while too.
Make sure you use the launcher's "Game Update" tab and refresh until you see 1.57 is available for download. Click on the update button and try updating again.

I had the same problem before and all I did was click the update button again.

I was wondering tho if I update first before installing the expansion packs?

I went to update through the game launcher, but got the "An error occurred while applying the update. No patch available for download." I decided to run it again, as suggested, and still got the same error. My version is 1.2.7.1 and the update is 1.67.

After that, apply Ultimate Fix and let me know the result please.

What should i do with the downloaded file? (i'm not a pro and don't want to mess it up haha)

You just need to double clikc it on it and localize the Sims 3 main app.

Hey so i did this and then tried to launch the game and i got (before the launcher opens) "Unkown error occured"
