i updated the version of the Sims3 manually and then i installed an expansion and wene i looked on its version it was downgraded
to an older version

If you're going to patch your game to a newer version, you also need a new crack. We have a crack in the fix that works with the latest game version (1.36) but it requires at least one of the following expansions: Diesel Stuff, Katy Perry Sweet treats, Showtime, Master Suite Stuff, Pets, Town Life Stuff or Generations.

There's no way to go back a patch level so you can do one of two things.
-You can reinstall everything, taking care not to exceed High end loft stuff's patch level.
-You can download and install one of the above mentioned packs. If you don't care about new features, I recommend getting one of the stuff packs. They're small and don't add much. You could use the manual patch to get to 1.36 and the crack from the fix.

An alternative is to find a crack that doesn't require one of those packs, but that may prove to be difficult.

Hello,

The only thing is that the crack in the fix, and probably most if not all cracks for that game version require at least one of the expansions or stuff packs I mentioned. Because some things about the way the game is started have changed since Generations was released.
I strongly suggest downloading one of the stuff packs I mentioned: Diesel Stuff, Katy Perry, Master Suite or Town life. They're only around 1GB so they don't take a lot of time to download and they don't add so much to the game that you would notice a significant difference.
Then of course, patch to 1.36 and use the crack from the latest fix.

well.....
i finished downloading town-life stuff pack
and i have downloaded the fix files
there was a pdf file in the fix win-zip
the first line of the pdf {First check which expansions you've installed}
is not understandable it means that we need to have the game installed
and it have to be updated or do i have to i install the base game only then i go to stuff pack then i install it with the desired expansion
but do i have to update my game to version 1.36 before or after installing stuff and expansion pack

OK i downloaded the Sims 3 stuff pack town-life stuff and extract it with win-zip and when i try to install it they tell me i need the disk 1

You'll have to extract it with winRAR, the files have gotten messed up because you used winzip.
