How can I patch a pirated version of the sims 3? Empty How can I patch a pirated version of the sims 3?

I recently downloaded a pirated version of the sims 3 (base game) and I want to install to download mods and EP, but I need to update, however, when I try to patch it manually, it says invalid file found, and the problem is code_version.txt, after some searching, I found out the problem is because I have a pirated no_cd copy, how can I patch the pirated copy?

All you need to know is in this topic here (please read it carefully and do the steps exactly as described):
