Dairy wont interact. [SOLVED]

I hope this is the right place to put this, this is the most helpful forum I know, so I hope someone will have the answer. As far as I know I have all the most recent update/fixes. My problem is that when I try to interact with the dairy, no matter where I put it down, the sim walks up to the dairy, then does the "stuck" animation... the waiving their arms etc as though they cant get to the dairy. Eventually, the cows dissapear and I have to put down a new one. Anyone else had this problem, or have any idea how to fix this? Thanks in advance.

I was actually about to suggest you try and put a new dairy thing, but that doesn't seem to help in your case. Are you using any mods maybe, besides the store fixes ? Make sure to re-download and re-apply the latest "store fixes" from here - and follow the included instructions as precisely as possible.

Also, in My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3, delete the following stuff:
-CASPartCache.package
-compositorCache.package
-scriptCache.package
-simCompositorCache.package
-socialCache.package
-plus the contents of the folders "WorldCaches" & "Thumbnails"
Re-start the game then and see if anything improved. Good luck for now and let me know if that worked !

I'm sorry I wasn't able to respond sooner. I had tried refreshing my CC magic as well as the steps you described above and that didn't work, and I noticed that for whatever reason the copy of the dairy in my game was not the same size as my back up copy... No clue how that came about, but I just figured it for a corrupted file and put in a new copy and that worked. I keep everything I can in a backup copy for such a purpose. Thank you for your reply!
