the fix wont work. [SOLVED]

so i installed the fix once before when i installed generations and it worked fine. but after i updated the game it said there was a disk error saying i need the game so i decide to install the fix again and my computer told me i need permission to change the files, but the computer is my own im the administrator. so confused and frustrated

Could you please post a topic of the folder where you are copying the files to?

oh im so sorry! thnks for telling me. im not quite sure what you are asking but i did what the fix said and extracted the fix to my desktop opened up sims game and the bin and tried to copy and paste the sims fix into the sims bin but it only let the TS3 copy and replace the other one said i need permission. you think its got anything to do with the update?

I mean, please post a picture of the bin folder where you tried to copy the fix to.

my computer has been acting kind of funny anyways so i just uninstalled evrything and now im trying to reinstall everything im having a few problems but im going to check the forum for answers first. thanks anyways though!

try installing the game but that image comes up right when it is at the
very end of installing. i uninstalled it figure it was something i did
but it happend again.
* might i add when i tried to mount the image
it wouldnt mount i had to go into poweriso and select the setup icon
which worked fine up until this point. i only say this because maybe it
had something to with it? idk yall are the genius so its in your hands.

Please do the following with the original .rar file you downloaded:

Please open the .rar file you downloaded using only WinRar, which can be downloaded from www.games4theworld.org . (If you use any other software than WinRar, like WinZip or 7-zip, the files will get messed up!)When
you've opened the file using WinRar, select áll the files in it and
drag & drop them to a folder on your Desktop. When the extraction is
done, close the .rar file and open the folder on your Desktop.
Now,
start by reading the included "# Installation Guide.txt" and you should
be able to get the game to work yourself. Good luck!
