Sims Medieval Ultimate Fix download issue. [SOLVED]

I was trying to re-download the Ultimate Fix and the only file being downloaded is The_Sims_Medieval_fix.rar and nothing else. It's also not letting me do anything with the download. When I went to save it, my computer asked how I wanted to open the file type and I'm not sure what to do. I had selected Internet Explorer, Wordpad, notepad, and now I'm getting desperate and giving up. Help?

Hello,
Go to this site here and download "WinRAR 4.20":
http://www.games4theworld.org/downloads.html
After downloading, you'll see a folder named WinRAR 4.20, in your download location. Inside it, you'll find the instrallation program for WinRAR (just follow the included "Installation guide.txt") - so install WinRAR then.
After that, you should be able to open the Medieval Ultimate fix download (as well as all other G4TW downloads that are "packed" as .RAR files). If it still doesn't work, right-click on the .RAR file and choose "open with....WinRAR" - and that should do. Good luck !

So that's downloading right either. It's not downloading as any kind of folder I can open. It's just a torrent file and it won't let me do anything with it.
I don't know why I'm having so much trouble this time, I've downloaded it before just fine.

Which torrent client are you using? Right-click the torrent file and choose "open with", and from the list, your torrent client.

I don't think I have a torrent client. I never had to download anything like this last time.

Google for uTorrent - then download and install that little program. You should then be able to open the small .torrent files with it. After which the download will begin. Good luck !
