The Sims Medieval New Game Issue. [SOLVED]

I've lurked through a number of the posts here, and haven't seen anyone with a similar problem.
This week I downloaded the game. Today I've installed it, as well as Pirates and Nobles, and the ultimate fix. It starts fine, until I go to start a kingdom. I get to a screen that tells you about how you have to start with the beginner ambition thing, and I go to start a game. At this point, I'm prompted to name my kingdom. I type something in the box, but when I go to click the check, it won't work - it makes a sound, but nothing happens.
It's just the oddest thing to have glitch out, and I'm wondering if there's anything I can do to get it working.

There have been problems like this. Its why I've been hesitant to update to the latest patch and I've had no issues at all. But that statement doesn't help you much of course.
I've been browsing through the posts but so far I haven't seen anything similar. I'm not sure what to tell you, if it were me, I'd look at several things, maybe a different name for your kingdom.
But it may be best to check back later after Admin has had a chance to read your post.

I've read about this problem previously. Hurm, but I don't remember the source. I'll update you when I found it. Anyway, stay tuned mate. Or Admin be around soon to help you out

I'm going to try and patch this and see how it works with my game. First, I will try it with the newest FIX, if it doesn't work I will use the latest FIX I had before P&N. Keep you posted.
OH YEAH! I had to reinstall the game anyways do to mods not working/showing up and I was using RELOADED with P&N and it work fine. But after a day of playing reinstalled game and EP now it wants to patch, funky game. Will test the FIXes anyways.

Ok, I guess that my fixes from RELOADED were already up to date with the newest update, since I just downloaded it a few days ago. But my game works fine no errors, even before the repatch. Now to get those pisky mods to show up in my game....hmmm.
