The time freeze but animations are still moving

Edit: I solved it by uninstalling everything except The sims 3 basic game and then installed the EP's I wanted the most (Into the future, Univeristy, Late night, Master Suite and HELS)
So I assume there was something wrong with one of the other EP's

I recently installed sims 3 and some expansion packs and I've been experiencing a quite odd lagg/freeze.
When I play the game all of the sudden everything stops but the animation are still going (for example the zzz when sleeping).

I started with installing the basic game and then all the expansions. After that I patched it and then used the Ultimate fix.
I've tried to turn in DEP. I've changed my graphics-card to enable tripe buffering and vertical sync.
I've installed the 4gb patch i've also tried to edit sims3.ini to allow more RAM and changes graphicrules.sgr to The time freeze but animations are still moving Bd52e5cd77

instead of 4-3-2-1.
Might have tried some other stuff as well that I can't think of right now.

Anyone else got some ideas on what to do?

Computer specs:
CPU: Intel I7 3610QM (2.3Ghz)
GFX: Nvidia Gefore GTX670m (3GB)
250GB SSD

It's a laptop if you didn't figure it out.

Hello and sorry for the late reply,

Does that ALWAYS happen, or is it something random ? Do you also have any mods installed ?

Also, in My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 3, delete the following stuff:

-CASPartCache.package
-compositorCache.package
-scriptCache.package
-simCompositorCache.package
-socialCache.package
-plus the contents of the folders "WorldCaches" & "Thumbnails"

Re-start the game then and see if anything improved. You may even turn off your anti-virus program completely before playing The Sims 3.
