Showtime Install

I'm painfully aware of the numerous posts about this very issue, but after trying all the fixes, I am coming here.

Specs: 

Processor  2.3 GHz Intel Core i5
Memory  4 GB 1333 MHz DDR3
Graphics  Intel HD Graphics 3000 384 MB
Software  Mac OS X Lion 10.7.5 (11G63)

I'm 90% sure I've installed my game correctly and have bought every single EP that I own beside the one I am trying to install right now. I downloaded a torrent of the Sims 3 Showtime and have received the following error message: The version of The Sims™ 3 installed is not updatable and is not compatible with The Sims™ 3 Showtime. 

I am fully patched and updated as I own the Island Paradise EP. I don't understand how I am running into this problem. 

I'm new to "cracks" but like I said, 90% sure I did it correctly: I dropped the "fairlight" contents into my Game/Bin folder. Is this incorrect?

I've installed every patch and fix compatible with my latest install, installing an earlier EP shouldn't be this much of a hassle. The only thing i haven't tried is down-dating to the showtime patch, installing, then updating back to 1.67


I hope this post doesn't sound pretentious I just don't want any censure about this issue being "resolved" already.
Any help would be appreciated!!

Pretty sure I found my problem out, my entire Bin folder is empty except for the crack. wtf did I do. sorry to waste anyones time.

I am not sure that I understand your problem. Seems like you need to apply the manual patch, can be found here: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t3597-can-t-update-the-sims-3-to-v167-fix-manual-patch

After patching your game, I am pretty sure the installer will let you the install the game. All you need to do is using Ultimate Fix for cracking your, with reading instructions carefully inside the file. And you will be done! Please let me know the result after trying it.
