HELP ON INSTALLING STORE FIXES FROM GAMES4THEWORLD

Forget about the launcher for now; we'll see to that too, later on.   Most likely you used an incompatible crack for the game. Are you sure you did the steps from #2 to #4 here, correctly ?

Do these steps first and then try starting the game with your TS3W.exe file, in the base game location (mentioned in step #4 of the guide !). Good luck - and keep me posted.

If you do these steps correctly, you should be able to open the game. But can you be more specific ? What do you mean by "it doesn't open at all" ? Is there some sort of error message ?

Alright, but can you start the game by double-clicking on the TS3W.exe in your base game loaction ? (again, forget about the launcher for now) Your base game location is usually in C:\Program files(x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin.

my normal saving isnt working for "Save and quit" but i save from "save as", do you know what the problem might be

I would actually suggest that you ALWAYS use the option "save". After the saving is done, just choose "quit" then. Also, do you still need help with the launcher problem ? Check out my topic here, for some information on launcher issues:

Do you also have .sims3pack files installed ? if yes, where did you get them from ?

The contents of Currentgame.sims3 can be safely deleted (at least in Windows); so that shouldn't play a big role in your problem. When did you realize that problem, or for how long were you playing that game, when this glitch started happening ?

Try saving your sims into the library, and then make a new savegame. Put your sims from the library into that new save, and play on. See if the same thing happens there too.

Have you tried shortening your playing sessions too, and saving in short intervals, like every 20-30 minutes (real-time) ? Just play for about an hour each time and then exit the game for a little while before re-starting it.

Playing for too long without exiting the game can cause things like that too.
