reinstalling lost expansions Empty reinstalling lost expansions

Post by Guest Fri 15 Aug 2014, 21:34

we had the sims 3 game with all of its expansions and stuff packs.
due to a problem with windows we had to restore our all system to an earlier time.
that way we lost few of our expansions.
above that, the game dosn't open now since the extansion dosn't have the proper update.
i have all the expansions i downloaded from g4tw and i usualy know how to install it.
my question is in which order you sugest me to do it so it will be done properly?

Hello,
Order of install should not matter.
Install your packs, and skip the cracks from the torrents (they are out of date).
Then, make sure your game is up to date (use the Manual Patch otherwise).
Then, download the latest Ultimate Fix, and copy the files from the #Crack folder.
That should do it!

actualy there is something but i'm not sure if i can solve it, since i'm already kind of gave up.
the opening time of the launcher is very long in our sims 3 game.
more then 5 minutes. after that the game works o.k , but you can imagine how innoying it is.
at the time i tried to get help to this here.

https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t12627-very-long-time-to-start-launcher

the main check result specified in my reply on Tue Jul 02, 2013 11:54 pm.
"i found that the file, inside DCCache folder, that make my launcher problems called : dcdb4.dbc.
without it the launcher opens fast, but as i said above, I'm missing 9 worlds in main menu.
with this folder i get back all the worlds but it takes the launcher to open about 3 to 4 minutes"

actualy today is more then 5 minutes.
have you any idea how can i solve it ?

Yeah, I have the same thing.
You must have a lot of CC, right? Use CC Magic: http://modthesims.info/d/461888
With it, you can merge your CC files.
Also, try Game Booster from IOBit.

you'r  right , we have a lot cc.
we used at the time cc magic but we didn't like it.
you felt a noticiable improvement after merging cc with cc magic?

waht exactly the game booster do?
do you think it can make launcher upload faster, or just boost the game while playing?

GameBooster does both. It puts your PC in Game Mode.

Yes.
You launch Game Booster, then inside launch your game.
When you close your game, GameBooster returns your PC to normal.
