Sims Medieval - Can't create a monarch.

Just installed The Sims Medieval, and applied ultimate fix. I can't create a monarch. Whenever I go into create one, it just sits at the "Create a sim loading page", but doesnt crash. It is still playing the music, and the loading symbol is still going through its proper motions, but I've been on this page for over 10 minutes now. Can anyone tell me how to fix this?

Do you have any Mods/Custom Content applied to the game?
And what is your game's version at the moment?

I have the same problem...Tried everything...uninstall, reinstall, ultimate fix, temporary fix, checked for mods, no saved games.....

Please check if your PC can run the game: http://www.systemrequirementslab.com/cyri/
If yes, then I assume this is an EA bug and you'll need to wait for it to get patched. I don't have any other solutions at the moment.
Maybe Google can help you further.

I also indeed have this problem, I can't create a monarch or use a ready made one. Most annoying.

If anyone has a solution to this problem, pls post it here. I have this problem too and my PC specs is definitely more than enough for this game.
