Can't download/unzip The Sims 3 Basic game

Hey,guys... First of all,want to say thank you for everything you do,really appreciate it.
Now,my problem... It seems that my download cannot be finished. It's stucked at 99.8%.
This is the 2nd time i'm trying. 1st it got stucked at 99.9%,eventualy download it, but WinRAR couldn't unzip it (said something about iso file being corrupt). I attached the screenshot so you could see for yourself...
Do you maybe know what's the problem and what should I do?
P.S.Dowloaded WinRAR from your page, it works fine with another file I tried to unzip.
(and I'm sorry,I don't want to sound unfrateful, just wanted to let you know that my Avast found a malicious threat in winrar keygen)

Hi there, and welcome to the Games4theworld Forum! 
What program are you using to download the torrent? I recommend that you use uTorrent, that you can get here:

About the screenshots, it seems that they weren't attached. To add images to your post, you should first click the button that says "Host an image" at the top of the reply box. There, you upload your image and at the end it will give you a link to it. After that, you must click "Insert an image" next to the other button and then paste the link of the image there.
And don't worry about the Avast warning. A lot of the antivirus programs detect keygens as 'trojans', but they are harmless. It's just the way they are programmed.

I'm sorry,but I can't subscribe on this thing... :$: Even made my forum on forummotion.com because I read that that's what you're supposed to do to get an accout,but that doesn't work...

Are you talking about https://servimg.com/? There is no need to create a forum to register in there. Are you sure you are pressing the right button? It's this one here:
The registering shouldn't be too hard after you open it. I don't remember exactly how it was, but I think it registered with your same username as here.
About uTorrent, take a look at this post:

I think I managed, I couldn't make the picture proper size ... Like I wrote (3 times already ), I set everything that you said,so I don't think that's the problem...

That's odd. Here are two ideas:
- Try right clicking the torrent and then selecting "Update Tracker", see if that fixes anything.
- If it doesn't, then stop the torrent (with the Stop button at the top), and then right click it and select "Force Re-check".
Please try those two things and keep us updated.

I see. One thing, did you do the port forwarding bit of the link? Here it is again:

That part is actually important. Please try doing it.
The other thing that occurs to me is to delete the torrent and download it again. But make sure to right click and select "Delete .torrent and data". Also look in the folder you are downloading it to and delete any .rar called The Sims 3 you see (previous failed downloads).
After that, try downloading it again and let us know how it goes. Good luck!

Occasionally, I encounter something similar with torrents too, that the percentage of the progress "decreases" due to hash errors. It's highly annoying, but for how long have you kept this torrent runnng at 99.9 % ?
From my experience, leaving it that way for a "while" should let the download complete. But I can't tell you how long you might have to wait. The longest I've seen for me was about 10-15 minutes, lol.
Also, can you pause that download and try completing the download, at different/random times of the day ?

Carlos, it lasted for a day and a half,too long ...
Anyway, I deleted everything, redownloaded The Sims, and finaly it worked, but now when I try to unzip it I get this massage...

Hi again.
Try right clicking the RAR and click "Extract files...", and when you are selecting the location for the extraction, check the box at the left that says "Keep broken files". After that, try mounting the .iso files for the installation.

Hey again... So, I managed to extrac files, I think I tryed like 20 times. The thing with "Keep broken files" didn't work cuz than it cannot be mounted properly... I tryed to exctract in different folders, hoping it would help, and at the end I extracted properly in the Download folder,where the .rar file was... Than I had problem with installing it, I was getting this massage...
I managed to install it, honestly don't even know how (don't know if pausing the seeding helped, that's the only thing I did in the meanwhile)...
Anyway, I have just one more question - I cracked it, cuz I wanted to make sure it'll work before I download any EP... And I saw that if I plan on having more EP I shouldn't... Is this gonna affect installing other expansions or not?
The massage (Saw someone else had the same problem... I didn't want to redownload it for the 4th time, think that's how it was solved, so I just kept trying )

Yes, unfortunately usually the fix for that error is re-downloading it.
About the cracks, remember that the proper installation guide is this one:

You do need at least one of the Expansion Packs mentioned in the Step 1 for the game to work properly. The crack with the Base game alone won't work, I'm sorry to say.

For the future, you could theoretically try the following, although it's far-fetched:
Mark all contentsof the .RAR, and right-click on them. Choose "Extract to the specified folder". (screen #1)
Then, in the next window, mark the box "keep broken files". And extract then.
It's a small chance, but worth a try.

Hi again...
This worked for me... When I get CRC errors, I stop my torrent which was finished (the one where I'm getting the error when trying to unzip), force re-check, and usually it set's it back at 99.8-99.9%. Than click "Start" to download missing/bad files again.... When it's done, I stop it again,and again force re-check... I managed to unzip folders properly only when after re-check it shows "Finished"...
Anyway,this is how I managed to unzip my games without getting CRC error... And to install Base game without problem....
Now,another issue, maybe I didn't understand "MUST READ" as I should... When I try to install any EP it wants to update The Sims, I agree,but I doesn't want to upload it... Should I apply any fix before installing EP? (In the manual it said that I first have to intall everything and than apply fixes...)

Is good to hear that you were able to fix the torrents issue!
About the update, you can apply the Manual Patch to update the game before installing the rest of the EPs. You can find it here:

This should get rid of the update message. After you are done installing the rest of EPs, there's no need to apply it again (but you can do it if you want, as it may get rid of errors). After that, continue with the Ultimate Fix (the Step 3 in the guide).

This is what I get when I try to use Manual Patch...
I can't do any step without some problem... (I sholud mention that I reistalled Sims,so now it's not cracked... And I tryed downloading the patch with different browser,but still getting this massage...)

Unfortunately, that means the Manual Patch is corrupt. It's very odd that you are getting this error in every download. Are you having problems with your Internet connection in general as of late?
Try temporarily disabling your Antivirus software and then redownload it with every browser you can. Try IE, Firefox, Chrome and even Opera.
