Can't Install Empty Can't Install

I've tried everything I can think of, but nothing works. I've tried running as Admin. Buy nothing.

The only thing I can think of for now is to apply something similar as what I described in this topic here:

You should try modifying the folder permissions, as described there. Start with the folder "The Sims 4", in the location mentioned in your error message. Then go on with "Start Menu", and then with "Windows" -> "Microsoft" -> "Program Data".


Also, try downloading and installing the following files in the link:

http://www.microsoft.com/en-us/download/details.aspx?id=40784

Download and install all 3 files, so the...

vcredist_arm.exe
vcredist_x64.exe
vcredist_x86.exe


After you did that, re-try installing the game. Good luck !

I tried everything you said to, but nothing works. 

For one, I could download all 3 programs, just the x64. 
Then I tried the permissions but nothing. 
It just keep stopping when it tries to create folders. 

I run windows 8

Are you using an Administrator account on Windows 8 ? See this here, for more details:

(And yes, "small" things like that are the reason why I personally hate Windows 8, and wouldn't recommend it to anybody).

Hey Guys, I'm Having A Similar Issue With The Install As Well, Every Time I Try To Install The Sims 4 I Get This:
Can't Install 29ojv2w
And I've disabled The Smartscreen & Extracted using WinRAR as well idk what the issue is. Help
