Sims Medeival problems.
I downloaded the Ultimate fix and read the guide, but when I started updating It went to 99% and then the first time it said something about locked files or something, but now it says connection lost during update. But I'm currently on Xbox Live so I KNOW the connection was not lost. Help?

Re: Sims Medeival problems.
Alright but which one is it? Most of those are just forums rather than a manual patch.

Now that update says something about a different region. What now?

You have to change the game's Region Code in the registry. Do you mind if I take a look via TeamViewer and try to fix it for you? If not, please join the Forum's chatbox now. I'm in there.

Re: Sims Medeival problems.
Hi. I'm currently having a problem with the game crashing on starting up. I've checked my system specs a few times now and they're within minimum specs requirements. I've updated my drivers (usually that's the issue) and there's been no success.
So, the game starts and it looks like it's going to launch a movie (probably the EA splash screen). But it crashes at this point with no error window. So black screen back to desktop.
I have no problem running the Sims 3 on this rig other than it gets a bit choppy after 6 hours.
I was just wondering if anyone has had this issue themself and knows how to correct it. (Maybe by disabling the startup movies. Anyone know how?)

Did you use the temporary Fix?

Re: Sims Medeival problems.
At the time, no. But now I have. And I got somewhere with it. It gave me a windows error report (something new). I believe now that it's something wrong with the computer itself, not the game. Thanks for your help.
