The Sims 4 Fatal Error [SOLVED]
I played the game and everything was working so far... That was until I exited off the game and after a little while I decided that I wanted to play it again. When I click on the game a little window popped up showing these words:
Is there anyway to fix this?
"The dynamic library "rld.dll" failed to initialize (E0)."
Is there anyway to fix this?

Hi there, and welcome to the Games4theworld Forum!
Please, download our Ultimate Fix from this link here:
https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t18086-the-sims-4-ultimate-fix
It has a guide included. Read it carefully and follow all of the steps. If you do, the error should disappear. Good luck, and keep us updated on how it goes!

Well, I am pretty sure that I did every single step in the guide but, for some reason the error is still showing up? Is there something extra I am missing?

Well, that error usually means that your antivirus is deleting an important file inside the game install location. You should try re-downloading and re-applying the Ultimate Fix, but with the antivirus disabled. See if the game runs fine then.

I have Norton 360 Virus Protection, there are a lot of things to turn off. Could I turn the options back on after I am finished repeating the steps?

Well, you should make sure first that the game runs fine before turning the antivirus back on. This way, if the game gives you an error again after that, at least you'll know that the antivirus is the one causing you problems.

Re: The Sims 4 Fatal Error [SOLVED]
I have tried to do the last step but, it keeps telling me that Norton is blocking and removing the file named "RldOrigin.dll is not safe and has been removed."

Then that means the folders weren't added correctly to the exceptions list. You could try adding the folders and subfolders, so add the _Installer, Game, Data and Support folders from Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4, and add the Bin folder inside the Game one too. The fact that your antivirus is deleting that file is what is causing your error.
Please, let us know how it goes. Good luck!
