Mod folder doesn't not appear in even after starting the game. [SOLVED] Empty Mod folder doesn't not appear in even after starting the game. [SOLVED]

Post by Guest Sun 09 Nov 2014, 13:33

A couple of days before, I download TS4 from Games4TheWorld website, installed them (after much difficulty) and manage to play the game without any glitch. I can play the game, save them without any complication.

The problem actually arises when I wanted to add custom contents to the game.

Fyi, I did read this thread (https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t18175-how-to-install-custom-content-in-ts4-package-files-script-mods-custom-sims-lots) earlier, it seems that if you wanted to add custom content items I must put them under the Mod My Documents/Electronic Arts/The Sims 4/Mods.

And when I go to my TS4 folder, I realized that there are only four main folder in there and the Mods folder are missing.

I even played the game a couple of times already and they still not appeared 'automatically' as it should be.

What should I do to make the Mods folder appear as it supposed to?

p.s
The Script Mod that should be appearing also doesn't appear and it seems that I also don't have the Tray folder in my main TS4 folder

Hi there, and welcome to the Games4theworld Forum! Very Happy

Are you sure you are looking in the correct location? The fact that you say you see only four main folders leads me to believe that you are looking at the folder inside Program Files (x86). Remember that the Mods folder is in the location inside My Documents (or Documents).

Please, check that you are indeed looking for the folder there. Good luck, and please let us know how it goes!

Dear SeoY,

I guess I've been looking at the wrong folder this whole time, silly me IAmSoHappyEmergahwd

Apparently the Mods and the Tray folder is indeed in my TS4 My Document folder. I've put my custom content package file in the Mods folder and Walla! The stuff actually appeared in the Script Mod when I launch the game.

Thanks for your help, btw! Wink
