My sims3 won't launch anymore PLZ help. [SOLVED]

Hi,

i'm new on this forum and i don't know if i place this topic at the right place. But i'm playing the sims 3 for a while now and downloaded a few expansions.

The last time when i played the game it get stuck and i had to ctrl + alt + tab and shut it down that way. After that happend i downloaded the expansion supernatural but now when i want to start the sims it opens and the start screen opens then i click on play but then nothing happens anymore?

I'm sure i downloaded it the right way because the other expansions worked also.

Sorry for the language i'm not that good at typing english.

Hello xxxT, and welcome,

Please make sure to download + install at least one of the expansions mentioned in step #1 there. After which you repeat the steps from #2 to #4.

At the end, please start the game with the TS3W.exe, located in your install location, usually C:\Program files(x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 3\Game\Bin.

Feel free to even make a shortcut to your desktop, from that TS3W.exe file. Good luck and keep us posted ! Smile

the game works again now. but the problem now is when it launch and it starts the game it is asking for the disk.. so i can't create a new game.. i'm spending all day long fixing it but nothing works.. really don't now what to do now. I also put the crack in the sims 3 bin folder.. (it's about the supernatural expansion).

Sorry, but please re-read the guide I linked to. Everything is described precisely in there. You must put the two files of the #crack-folder in the Ultimate fix, into the BASE GAME location, and not into the Supernatural-folder or anything. And then of course you must replace the old files.

There really isn't much behind that - it can't get more simple than this guide I linked to. Good luck.

thanks for responding. i watched the video of the ultimate fix. the only thing i forgot was place the real crack into the base game folder.
