Launcher Won't Work Anymore... [SOLVED]

I've installed the Sims 3 Showtime on Monday, applied the Ultimate Fix and had it updated automatically to version 1.32 thanks to the launcher, but when I started the game the famous unofficial modification had appeared.

The game worked, however I was quite frustrated since I couldn't log into my sims account into the game to use SimPort you see. A few days later I found the manual patch on here, but my computer kept giving me this error message when I wanted to download the 1.31 patch. Being the idiot I am, I skipped the first step of the manual patch guide about re-installing the 1.31 patch and installed the 1.32 patch instead. After following the rest of the steps and trying a few various things such as deleting .packages and whatnot, I tried turning on the game...

My computer says the Sims 3 Launcher has stopped working without it even popping up. I've also tried entering the game without going by the launcher, it doesn't work either. My cursor has been loading for two hours as I write this.

Am I obliged to re-install the base game? I'd like to add that apart from Showtime, the other games I own were all store-bought.

Be sure to re-download and re-apply the latest version of the Ultimate Fix.

I finally took the time to watch the instructions video to see what I did wrong and fixed the problem: I forgot to add the fix to my other Sim files.
