Can't run Sims 3 anymore. [SOLVED]

I don't know what the problem is.

I played earlier today and everything was fantastic.

Then I added some CC's and mods to my game ((I don't think it's a problem though)) and wanted to start it again, but it just doesn't start.

Important:

I use Game Booster 3, or well since I updated today, Razor Game Booster to start the game without lag.

Game Booster keeps changing from game mode to normal mode as soon as I launch the game and that kind of won't let the game start.

Suggestions?

I also watched the actions in the task manager. The game starts for 3 seconds (in the task manager) and then disappears, which means it shuts down again.

Hello,

When you don't think CC/Mods are the problem, they can be a problem, especially when you can run the game smoothly without them Wink

. It's quite the norm that 3rd party CC/Mods (well except NRaas mods and EA official store content) cause incompatibility/corruption problem(s).

Hmmm, I don't know. I played with other CC/Mods before and everything went just fine.
Then I discovered some more yesterday and the game just won't start.
Removing them is hard though, because I really need them haha. But is that the only option? If yes, I'll need to do that.

Oh god, there are a lot I've installed yesterday. I used many before, but I added so many more.

Edit: I actually removed the mods I downloaded yesterday and I still have the same problem. Sigh.

Hello,
Can you rename your The Sims 3 folder in My Documents>Electronic Arts and then try starting game again.

That didn't work either.

I'm slowly giving up.
Re-installing everything would cost so much time and I definitely don't have the time for it, except for weekends probably.

Hello,

Sometimes CC/Mods can ruin the game. Next time please, please varify the mods/CC before downloading, or else you will have to reinstall everything again. If you really want to reinstall, please refer to this guide.

Alright I think I fixed it. At least I hope it will continue to work now.

I re-installed everything yesterday and put the Mod's back in and the game actually started up again.
If it stops working again, that'll be my fault.
