sims 3 medieval will not start

Ihave recently dled the latest fix and since then it will get as far as the loading screen then the screen goes black and it says the game has stopped responding any help

yes I recently got and tried the temp fix followed the direction to the letter and got the same error message

Hello,
More people have reported this problem and there's no solution yet. The only option for now if you want to play seems to be reinstalling the game, and not updating it. You can use the crack that came with the download.
But first you'll want to make sure you followed the directions for the fix to the letter. And don't forget to back up your save game if you do decide to reinstall.

ok i reinstalled the game and it worked up until it asked to create A MONARCH I clicked yes and it got stuck on the entering create a sim screen
