Hi! I am just writing this to let you all know that I got enough money to have a surgery that I really wanted to have and, since it should happen next week's Friday, 16th of January, I will be on and off the board (mostly off than on, sorry) for the next couple of weeks or so.

Please accept my apologies if I am not being so quick about answering threads where I am trying to help the users, I would really appreciate any assistance on answering some issues I left without a solution, since I am a bit overwhelmed with the pre surgery tests and other things...

It's not a risky procedure, in case you're wondering, but you know how those things work, doctors, tests, doctors again, rinse and repeat!

I hope you're all having a beautiful January!

I wish you the best of luck on your surgery, and I hope the result is satisfactory. See you in a few weeks! 

I don't think you need to apologize for taking the time to answer topics while you are occupied with pre-surgery things, as your procedure is the priority. And you are taking a lot of the weight of the Forum's activity while a considerable amount of the team is on vacation. You don't need to worry. 

Anyway, good luck! Very Happy

Hi! Just got out from surgery. So far, everything is well!

Just came back home! Sorry for the "double post", I was using my phone at the hospital and I didn't see where to edit the last message.

I am having much less pain than expected, thankfully, and it seems my surgery was a success!

I would love to build a highway system plus a subway/train system (I love to make them straight going up, down and through hills and valleys using tunnels and huge bridges)... It's a shame it's not creative mode (it would be waaay faster/easier on creative/peaceful mode to create HUGE things), but we can also build cool things on regular mode, as long we find enough material and take our time mining some gold for the rails...

We can build a couple of cute houses, towers, apartments etc. It's just like playing interactive LEGO together! Maybe we could start by building a very tall central tower, to define the "center of the world"? I saw some nice elevator mods around, but nothing for 1.8.1 yet, so maybe we'd have to use regular stairs first?

What would you like mostly?

Sorry that I am still not around much. I won't get my new computer until the end of March and I am still recovering from my surgery. I am working on a very lousy laptop and I don't know if I will be able to install / run the game properly, since I can't seem to even do basic stuff like editing text and browsing properly on the web (my Galaxy Note 2 seems faster than this laptop, and I replaced the HD with an SSD...).

I wish you all a great weekend, let's have more tea while we wait...

When my hard-drive died last year, I was also "out of order" for a little while, until I got a replacement. Couldn't play anything at all, besides some games from the mid-2000s, on my old laptop.

But then I got my replacement part, and then continued. Very Happy
