Minor Issue with 1.3.32.1010 Fix. [SOLVED]

I don't know if It's me or the file but,

I extract rar onto the desktop
I have a copy of the files on the desktop
copy and paste the fix over the sims 4 game files
I play the sims 4
The files in the desktop copy of the rar dissapear

You mean the extracted files disappear? 
If so, are you sure you didn't Cut the files, instead of Copying them?

Anyway, if the game works, the magically disappearing files shouldn't be too much of a problem...?

The extracted files disapear, and I'm sure I'm copying and pasting them over the game files. The 
game works perfectly well, thank you, but I thought it was just weird. Maybe foreshadowing something?
