Sims 4 Help. [SOLVED]

Hello there so i downloaded The torrent installed the game applied the fix disabled my anti virus (first) went to launch the game and got "TS4.exe- Entry point Not Found- The procedure entry point _except1 could not be located in the dynamic link library C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Game\Bin|TS4.exe." how do i fix this i got the torrent to work on my girlfriends computer any help would be great

Regarding the error you are getting, it has only started appearing until recently. So, it would be best if you could give us as much information as possible. What OS are you using? Did you download the latest Ultimate Fix from here: https://games4theworld.forumotion.com/t18086-the-sims-4-ultimate-fix?

And did you make sure to install the vcredist_x86.exe and vcredist_x64.exe that are found at Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\__Installer\vc\vc2013\redist?

Also remember to add the install location of The Sims 4 to the Exceptions List of your antivirus. This is important to avoid errors in the game.

Hello, I am receiving the same error. "The procedure entry point_except1 could not be located in the dynamic link library MSVCR120.dll" I have installed both vcredist files, as well as the latest ultimate fix. I've also added the sims 4 to my antivirus exceptions list. The error still pops up anytime I try to start the game.

I'm receiving the same error.

Do you mind sharing what you did to fix that error?

I completely uninstalled every file associated with sims 4. I moved my mods and tray folders to my desktop. I re-downloaded the file and installed it in the c folder not the 86 one. Then I changed it to run under administrator amd it started right up. I then moved my mods folder and tray folder back. After that I applied the fix. Everything showed up. Make sure you're not logged onto origins.
