Could this be the cause of my start up problems? Empty Could this be the cause of my start up problems?

When installing Sims 4 I made sure to put it on my exceptions list so my antivirus wouldn't compromise the installation in any way. However, I did not include the ultimate fix on the exception list and this happened:

Could this be the cause of my start up problems? Is_thi12

My antivirus quarantined this file that I'm pretty sure was in the ultimate fix file. Could this be causing the initialization error that I keep getting? This is the only thing that I think could be causing this issue because I made sure to follow all the other steps that you guys provided to prevent this from happening

Is this actually a dangerous file, or can I restore it? Will that fix the initialization error?

Hello and welcome to our forum,

Yes, the file is safe to use, and yes, you should correctly configure all your anti-virus and anti-malware programs, so that they don't delete your stuff. Smile  Restore these deleted files from your quarantine. And for a start, this guide might help you, and it might serve as a first step to correctly configure your programs.
