Sims 4 Initialization Error after updating Holiday & Career pack Empty Sims 4 Initialization Error after updating Holiday & Career pack

So I downloaded the Ultimate Fix and I did everything on the Installation Guide. Everything seems fine, but when I was about to play the game, it says "initialization error". Please help! I really want to play Sad

PS I didn't download the Sims 4 game from this site. I downloaded it from a crack CD that I bought on my local store. Could that be the problem? Please reply! Thanks.

Hello emstensimmer and welcome to the forum, Smile 


I would suggest you un-install the game you bought from your store. And then re-boot the computer. After that, you should re-download the game from Games4TheWorld, here:
http://games4theworld.org/downloads.html

The Ultimate fix will only work with the game from Games4TheWorld, and nothing else. I guess the version on your CD is still the old 3DM version, and you cannot use the Ultimate fix on that.
