Deleted desktop icon

I accidentally deleted my desktop icon and I don't know how to launch my game. Please help, thank you

To start the game, you just need to navigate to Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Game\Bin and double click on TS4.exe. If you want to create another desktop icon, just right click TS4.exe, go to "Send to..." and choose "Desktop (create shortcut)". This will put an icon in the desktop once again.

There is no TS4.exe over there, it is missing. What do i do?

Did you change install directory while you were installing Sims?
Type Sims 4 into your search bar in start menu, that's it if you're using Windows 7 or 8.1
If it's not there, then are you sure you deleted just your desktop shortcut?

I am having the same problem. What should I do to get my sims 4 back?

how about in your recycle bin ? did you empty it ? if not you can recover it there.
or how about go to your C:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\The Sims 4\Game\Bin
